Corporate Citizenship

PAE takes its responsibilities seriously. As a member of the community, that means we support people, places, and groups both in and beyond the buildings industry.

• We’re enrolled in the “1% for Public Architecture” program, and have committed to providing 400 hours of pro bono time each year.
  

• We thought the 1% program was such a good idea that we created an in-house version: employees can spend 1% of their work time as volunteers for local programs and causes.
  

• And, sometimes PAE’s involvement is simply a contribution – to Seattle‘s Food Frenzy, to Engineers Without Borders, to Portland’s Coalition for Excellent Schools, to name a few.
  

Adjunct professors are in the PAE mix too. Principals and associates teach classes for Portland State University’s engineering program, Marylhurst University’s interior design program, and the University of Oregon’s architecture program.
