About Paul Schwer, PE, LEED AP

Paul has more than 25 years of experience in mechanical system design and is a national leader in engineering for energy-efficient and sustainable buildings. He has provided expertise for nearly 30 LEED projects and is currently engaged in several aimed at Living Building and Net Zero Energy. A highly regarded speaker, Paul has lectured extensively throughout the nation on a variety of sustainable design topics, including most recently the correlation between environmental conservation and social justice. Paul is an AIA board member, a registered professional engineer in four states, and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in mechanical engineering from Bucknell University. He has been president of PAE since 2004.
