Erik has over a decade of experience in the lighting industry working on a wide range of projects including commercial offices, higher education facilities, hotels and residences, and cultural performance centers. His background in architecture gives him a unique understanding of how a space works and how an architect thinks, giving him the knowledge to better integrate lighting into a project. As a designer, he’s motivated by taking elements that do not seem to work and finding an ideal solution for creating an entirely new product.
