Ras is a mechanical engineer with over a decade of experience, all at PAE. He is driven to make efficient plumbing designs that have an impact in solving or minimizing energy and water usage in the local community. His community focus is exemplified in his volunteer work for MESA Oregon and other community volunteering events to encourage students to go into STEM and plumbing design. Ras prides himself in being able to describe technical concepts and calculations to non-technical clients in ways that resonate with them. His communication skills and designs for plumbing and fire protection have been integral in some of Oregon’s most prominent sustainable projects like Patricia Reser Center for the Arts, Multnomah County’s Gladys McCoy Health Department Headquarters and Oregon Health and Science University’s Knight Cancer Research Center.
