PAE congratulates our recent hires and newest promotions.

Nick Collins, PE, LEED AP
Nick Collins has been promoted to managing principal of the Portland office. Nick has over 20 years of professional experience, spending 18 of those with PAE. A LEED Accredited Professional, Nick has lent his expertese on over 15 LEED rated buildings. His role as an adjunct professor at Portland State University ensures his sustainable, resource efficient strategies are infulencing the future of the industry. As Managing Principal, Nick oversees the day-to-day operations of PAE's Oregon offices.

Matt Jones, PE, LEED AP
Matt Jones has been promoted to associate principal. He is an industry leader in creating integrated, elegant and reliable electrical design solutions for healthcare and laboratory facilities. Matt has a passion for designing systems that are both pragmatic and aesthetically pleasing, ultimately leading to improved patient care. His long-term clients include OHSU, Providence Health, and Kaiser Permanente.

Mike Streb, PE, LEED AP
Mike Streb has been promoted to senior associate. Mike has been with PAE since 2007 and has over 13 years of experience in electrical engineering. A LEED Accredited Processional, Mike has provided expertise for 13 LEED rated projects, including 4 certified LEED Platinum. He is currently leading the firm’s electrical design for “Framework”, set to be one of North America’s first wood high rise buildings.

Matt Peairs, PE, LEED AP
Matt Peairs has been promoted to technical senior associate. Matt has a decade of experience in mechanical engineering and has designed creative and integrated HVAC systems from California to Alaska. He was most recently a key member of the design team on Facebook’s new 430,000 square foot west campus expansion. With PAE since 2007, Matt will soon be taking advantage of PAE’s sabbatical program.

Ned Greene, PE, LEED AP
Ned Greene joined PAE in 2015 as a lead engineer and has been promoted to associate. Ned’s diverse background includes serving as the director and construction manager at a children’s home in Tanzania, followed by 3 years in Abu Dhabi, UEA as a senior engineer. Ned has a passion for sustainable systems and has lent his expertise on many energy-efficient buildings that utilize natural ventilation strategies for passive cooling.

Christiaan Clary, RCDD
Christiaan Clary joins PAE as a senior associate, leading the firm’s technology and AV design team. He is an industry leader in the design of communications infrastructures and has extensive knowledge ranging from copper and fiber infrastructure and In-building wireless to audio visual and IP security systems. Chris has 14 years of experience, and a unique background as a manufacturer’s representative and director of business development.

Shiloh Butterworth
Shiloh Butterworth joins PAE as the director of employee experience, leading PAE’s human resources and recruitment efforts. He brings 20 years of leadership experience in strategic and operational settings to the firm. Shiloh leads the development, implementation, and management aimed at improving the employee experience and PAE culture. Shiloh spent 6 years in the U.S. Army as an operations manager and deputy chief of operations in both Iraq and Hawaii.
