We’re proud to share that PAE has officially been recertified as a B Corporation—a recognition of our ongoing commitment to environmental and social responsibility, transparency, and accountability.

This milestone reflects more than just compliance. It’s a signal that, even as the standards for B Corps become more rigorous, we continue to evolve thoughtfully, growing in ways that align with our values and meet the moment.

Why It Matters
Being a B Corp means committing to a business model that prioritizes impact. It means choosing to measure what truly matters: our contribution to a healthier climate, our support for employee wellbeing, our relationships with communities, and the integrity of how we operate.

There are now more than 9,500 Certified B Corporations in over 100 countries and across 160 industries. We’re proud to be part of this global movement using business as a force for good, and one of the few engineering firms working to redefine how the built environment serves both people and the planet.

Our Progress
As part of the recertification process, we submitted to a rigorous impact assessment that reviewed every aspect of how we operate.

• We’re happy to report that our overall B Impact Score increased from 95.4 in 2021 to 97.8 in 2025, reflecting improvement in several mission-aligned areas.
• We saw major improvements in Air & Climate, thanks to renewable energy use and building performance at the Bullitt Center and PAE Living Building.
• We also saw gains in employee engagement and satisfaction, including stronger feedback systems and improved parental leave.

What’s Next
B Corp certification is not an endpoint—it’s a framework. It challenges us to examine how we work, where we can do better, and what kind of impact we’re creating. As we move forward, we’re committed to pushing boundaries, improving where it counts, and staying rooted in the values that drive our work.
