Engineering that Matters: Our New Tagline

Our new tagline is a commitment to our goals.

At PAE, we believe great engineering should be invisible but deeply impactful. You feel it in how a space breathes, manages energy and water, and supports the people inside it.

That belief inspired our new tagline:
Engineering that Matters.

It reflects the clarity of our purpose and the way we work. What makes us different is how we bring both the vision and the math. We don’t just model ideas—we make them real.

Arriving at this phrase was a collaborative, iterative process—one that involved voices from across our offices and disciplines. We gathered feedback, tested ideas, and asked ourselves what truly defines PAE.
One idea kept rising to the top: that what we do matters—not just technically, but personally, socially, and environmentally.

We’ve seen that impact play out across all kinds of projects—from Living Buildings to affordable housing to all-electric campuses. In every case, what made the difference wasn’t just the engineering—it was the shared goals, the dedication, and the trust among the entire design team.

Engineering that Matters is more than a tagline. It’s a commitment:

  • To create buildings and communities that are resilient and efficient.
  • To design systems that work—for people and the planet.
  • To design with and for people—centering well-being, collaboration, and shared purpose.

This is how we’ve always worked.
Now we just have a clearer way to say it.
