The expansion to the historical Portland Japanese Gardens makes room for thousands of guests, furthering the legacy of beauty and culture the gardens offer. Developing an existing site along with building additions, the work included the Lower Garden and the Sloped Moss Garden leading uphill to a new Garden Village with a tea room, museum space, administration offices, a classroom, gift shop / ticketing, and a maintenance building.
