MEETS: A Tool for Visualizing Sustainable Project Goals and Results

As a founding member of the MEETS Coalition, PAE is excited to share a new tool to further incentivize energy efficient buildings.

PAE is committed to helping our clients find the best solutions; both from an engineering design and financial perspective.

One tool available to help developers better realize the payback on the extra value they commit to a project with high performance goals is MEETS. MEETS stands for Metered Energy Efficiency Transaction Structure and is a financial mechanism being adopted by utility companies, which allows building owners to be compensated on a monthly basis for the energy savings resulting from the improved building performance.

PAE is a founding member of the MEETS Coalition whose purpose is to help more utility companies and building owners adopt and use this important financial program to help improve the financial viability of sustainable project goals.
