This redesign of recovery rooms used cutting edge technologies and research on the impacts of electric lighting in healthcare facilities to improve healing outcomes for patients and staff performance.
Special Features
- A 3000K LED lighting solution was employed to create a warm, comfortable environment for patients despite the lack of daylight sources.
- Extensive use of dimming controls provides patients and staff with control over their environment.
- Regular and egress lighting in the corridor is controlled by a central timeclock to gradually dim down in the evening and at designated quiet times to create a restful environment.
