The new three-story office building serves the county’s public entities such as the sheriff’s department and offers a law library, administrative offices, ground floor retail and lobby. Uniquely, the project repurposed granite blocks from the nearby 1904 historic jail, as well as marble and wood panels from a demolished 1962 building. An outdoor plaza can be used for community events and farmer’s markets.
